Wherever you are, a parent at the kitchen table or a professional ready to lead, there is a next step in Georgia. Here is how the pathway works.

Three starting points. Each one leads to a training and a person to talk to.

I CARE FOR A CHILD
Start with a Caregiver Training Series or an Introduction to TBRI near you. You will leave with language and tools you can use that night.

I WORK WITH CHILDREN
Attend an introduction or sector workshop, connect with the practitioner in your region, and learn how professionals are recommended for the annual Practitioner Training.

I LEAD AN ORGANIZATION
Explore what a trauma-responsive culture looks like for your team, from a first workshop to coaching and systems change across your sector.
TBRI Georgia practitioners are trained through an annual cohort. Here is how someone gets there.
Attend an Introduction to TBRI or a caregiver series and start using the principles where you are. Most future practitioners begin here.
Get to know the practitioners in your region and sector. They lead the trainings on this calendar and are the people who recommend new practitioners.
Each year, practitioners put forward the people they have seen carry the work. Those recommended are invited to apply for the next Practitioner Training cohort.
Complete the five-day Practitioner Training in Rome and join the statewide network, with a place on the calendar to lead trainings of your own.
If you completed Practitioner Training with the Karyn Purvis Institute or another ambassador organization and now serve in Georgia, we would love to have you in the network. Sign in or contact us and we will connect you.
Write to us. A real person reads every message and will point you to the right training or the right practitioner in your area.
