Questions we hear most

Short answers. Write to us for anything else.

What is TBRI®, in one sentence?

TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed way of caring for children that helps adults meet a child's needs for connection, empowerment, and correction, so that healing can happen inside relationship.

Who is TBRI Georgia for?

Anyone in Georgia who cares for or works with children who have experienced relational trauma: foster and adoptive parents, kinship caregivers, teachers, caseworkers, counselors, ministry leaders, judges, and the organizations they serve in.

Do I need to be a professional to attend a training?

No. Caregiver series and Introductions to TBRI are open to everyone. Some sector workshops and the annual Practitioner Training are for professionals and are noted on the calendar.

How do I become a TBRI Georgia practitioner?

Practitioners are trained through an annual cohort in Rome. People are recommended by practitioners already in the network and invited to apply. The Start your journey page walks through each step.

What does a training cost?

Costs vary by training and are shown on each event page. Seats are held with a deposit and the balance is invoiced before the training. Organizations sending a group can be invoiced directly.

I completed TBRI® Practitioner Training elsewhere. Can I join the Georgia network?

Yes. Sign in or contact us and we will connect you with your region and add you to the network.
