Held in September 2023, the TBRI Practitioner Training brought together professionals from across Georgia for an intensive learning experience focused on Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI). Hosted at Restoration Rome, the training created a structured environment where participants could deepen their understanding of trauma, attachment, and the practical tools needed to support children and families with complex needs.

The training emphasized three core priorities: effective training delivery, a commitment to child and family welfare, and sustained professional development. Through lectures, case discussions, and interactive exercises, attendees learned how to apply TBRI principles in real-world settings, including foster care, schools, residential programs, and community-based services.

By the conclusion of the course, new TBRI Practitioners were better equipped to build trust, respond to challenging behaviors with compassion, and advocate for systems that prioritize safety and connection. Their expanded skills will directly benefit children and families across Georgia, strengthening networks of care and advancing a more trauma-informed approach to practice.
